JLL was requested by DHL to source appropriate land opportunities in Johannesburg to house a distribution centre of 120,000m² for one of its clients, Unilever.

We applied our intimate knowledge of the distribution centre environment and appropriate land parcels to service our client’s need.

Through our relationship with targeted land owners, we were able to present an opportunity which would meet Unilever’s requirements in terms of location and deal structure.

Results

JLL successfully negotiated land assembly suitable to accommodate Unilever’s requirement.

We provided a turnkey solution with ownership options in a landlord-driven market. Despite the nature and timing of the land assembly, we were able to meet Unilever’s financial development requirements.
