Andrew Bradford of the Capital Markets team braves the desert sand to complete the world's longest 24 hour race

369km's through the Namibian desert, the Desert Dash Cycle Race between Windhoek and Swapokmund in Namibia is the world's longest 24 hour mountain bike race. Competitors have to deal with conditions such as heat (going up to 50 degrees Celsius), the cold and darkness of the moonless night, wind and vast amounts of sand.

Andrew Bradford completed this extreme off-road ride in 21 hours and 46 minutes, placing him 30th out of approximately 100 riders in the solo rider category.
