Office Market Profile - Rosebank & Illovo


• Rosebank is a prime office node ideally situated between the Johannesburg’s city centre and the Sandton central business district. The Rosebank node has still managed to perform well, attaining prime gross rentals of R181.00/m² and R121.00/m² for A grade office buildings, notwithstanding the overall flat market conditions due to sluggish economic activity.
 
• The popularity of Illovo among its corporate occupants is underpinned by its ideal location (between Sandton, Hyde Park and Rosebank) and the prestigious surrounding residential suburbs of Dunkeld, Melrose, Sandhurst and Hyde Park. Although the Illovo node has no Gautrain station, it lies along the Gautrain bus route and has therefore been able to capitalise on the increased accessibility that the Gautrain route provides.
