  • Gugulethu CeleAnchor, CNBC Africa

    Gugulethu Cele, a true communicator at heart and a B.Comm Accounting graduate from the University of Johannesburg, entered broadcast in 2010 as a newsreader at Eyewitness News on Talk Radio 702. She swiftly moved up the ranks joining Moneyweb in 2011 as a financial journalist specialising in IT and as a business news reader. Her broadcasting talent was soon recognised and she became a radio presenter on Lotus FM and SAfm and later made the cross over to TV joining CNBC Africa.

Craig WilsonEditor, Stuff MagazineCraig is the editor of South Africa's premier consumer technology magazine, Stuff. He also writes for a range or magazines and websites including Business Day's Wanted, Destiny Man and Moneyweb.

In addition to his work for print and online media he provides analysis and commentary on the technology sector on TV stations like CNBC Africa, eNCA and BusinessDay TV, and on radio stations including 702, CapeTalk, MetroFM, PowerFM, Classic FM and Yfm.

Dustin StrydomVice President of Custom Software, Open Box SoftwareDustin is responsible for the corporate direction and strategy of Custom Software at Open Box Software, including overseeing its business development and client experience. Open Box Software is a custom software and services company based in Cape Town and has worked closely with JLL on a number of technology development projects over the past three years.

Prior to joining Open Box, Dustin was involved as a deal transactor at a niche corporate finance and private equity firm, after which he developed a taste for technology while structuring, shaping and pricing large, complex corporate transactions at Accenture. He joined Open Box to develop and head up the Key Account Management function before moving into his current role as Vice President of Custom Software.

Ewout HolstNational Director, Corporate Solutions, JLL Sub-Saharan AfricaEwout joined the Sub-Saharan Africa business in 2015 to lead the Corporate Solutions offering for the JLL Sub-Saharan Africa platform, with a focus on corporate occupiers to provide global portfolio strategies, transaction and strategic advisory, and real estate solutions.

Ewout was based in the Netherlands for the past 6 years and was responsible for JLL’s Transaction Management and Strategic Consulting business. His responsibilities included growing the corporate business in the Netherlands and within EMEA, and the management of global accounts, providing strategic and transactional services across all geographies.

Ewout’s expertise includes strategic planning and real estate portfolio management, budget and financial management, transaction management of leasehold and freehold properties, M&A, workplace solutions and sustainability. Over the years he has built his experience working on mandates in the ICT, financial and business services sector.

Prior to joining JLL, Ewout was a professional swimmer (1997-2004) and Olympic Athlete (Sydney 2000) and attended a traineeship at the Business Development department of a Dutch construction company.

Ewout holds a Masters degree (Honours) in Real Estate & Housing at the Technical University in Delft. Originally born in the Netherlands, he has lived abroad for 18 years in, among other countries, Malaysia, Germany and the UK. Ewout is fluent in English, German and Dutch, and has an adequate level in French. In 2010 he became a BREEAM Expert through a training programme at the Dutch Green Building Council.

Robyn GrayHead: Business Development, Tétris South AfricaRobyn is responsible for business developments for Tétris South Africa, the interior design and build business line of JLL. She is the passionate creative behind the initial concepts for each project - the story begins with an idea. This idea is then grown by the skilled technical design team and project management team who produce spaces that amaze and excite.

Robyn has a NDip Interior Design from the University of Johannesburg and has extensive experience in the following areas:

  • Design: Trend research, conceptual design, space planning, presentation techniques, furniture specifications, design development.
  • Documentation: Technical documentation, shop drawings, consultant liaison, FF&E specification and sourcing.
  • Co-ordination: Project administration, site management, site. administration, site surveys, FF&E procurement, lease compliance, landlord liaison and submissions, council submissions, interior construction, shop fit, supervision, installation and styling.

Gugu anchors various programmes on the channel speaking to CEO’s, economists and captains of industry, together with analysing daily market moving news.

Some of her career highlights include attending and reporting from the 2014 and 2016 Annual World Economic Forum held in Davos and the 2015 World Economic Forum in Africa. Gugu also chairs and moderates debates focused on a myriad of topics in both the financial and business landscape.

In 2012, Gugu received acknowledgement for her work regarding BEE investment options, in the form of a nomination for the Peregrine award for Alternative investment reporting, in the Citadel Words on Money Journalism Awards.
