Simon Ardonceau

Head of Consulting and Business Development, Africa

Simon’s tenure at JLL started in the Paris Agency department in 2010. He has also worked in JLL’s Dubai office where he subsequently joined the Sub-Saharan office in 2016. In SSA he was tasked to develop potential for customized real estate consulting advice across the African continent. Simon has extensive experience in Africa and his work has seen him travelling to Kenya, Morocco, Ghana, Nigeria and Egypt to name a few. His experience has also seen him involved in numerous assignments that include feasibility studies, market research, investment advisory, management consulting and market entry strategy.

Simon started his career in the real estate industry in 2006 in with Foncia Enterprises and then BNP Paribas Real Estate.

In 2010, Simon joined the Key Account team of the Agency Department of JLL Paris where he has developed an expertise in commercial real estate and has been involved in more than 40 large transactions in France representing a total of 340,000 sqm of office space leased and 50,000 sqm of office space acquired.

In 2013 he joined the Strategic Consulting team of JLL Dubai where he has been involved in numerous assignments including feasibilities studies, highest and best use studies, market research, market entry strategy across the Middle East, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Since 2016 Simon has joined JLL in Johannesburg where is heading the Strategic Consulting department dedicated to Sub-Saharan Africa markets. His work brought him to manage assignments across Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Togo, Benin, Cameroon, Mali, Djibouti, Madagascar, Mauritius, Algeria, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
